Princeton Legal Search Group has been retained on an exclusive basis by IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC, a Berkshire Hathaway company, to lead the search for an experienced construction associate to join its dynamic in -house legal team.
IPS is a global leader in developing innovative solutions for consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares and reviews legal documents, including construction and professional engineering contracts, construction & vendor subcontracts, design professional sub-consulting agreements, independent contractor agreements, agency & employee contracts, confidentiality agreements, lease agreements, etc.
- Researches, monitors, ensures and reports compliance with state, local and federal regulations. This may include licensing in multiple US State jurisdictions, Canada, the UK & EU.
- Researches, monitors, ensures and reports compliance with FCPA, OFAC, ITAR and other Federal and internationally mandated Ethics and Compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school; admission to any State Bar and the commitment to secure a PA in-house counsel license.
- 3+ years of experience in either:
- US Based construction and/or design professional services Corporation’s In-House Law Department providing services domestically and/or internationally, or
- US Law Firm specializing in the construction and/or design professional transactional, corporate compliance or litigation practice areas
- Knowledgeable of construction and design professional related:
- Contingent Liabilities, such as Bonding and applicable Insurance
- State licensing regulations and requirements
- FCPA, OFAC, ITAR and other Ethics and Compliance regulations
Remote, with the ability to travel to Blue Bell, Pennsylvania on an as needed basis.
