Our client, a global biopharmaceutical company with a team of over 8,000 talented employees, a strong market presence in more than 40 countries, and numerous strategic partnerships across the industry, is seeking a Senior Counsel-Immunology to join the team.  This position is located at the company’s U.S. headquarters in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area.

This position provides a broad range of legal counsel to the U.S. Immunology pharmaceutical business, including the marketing and sales organization.

Key Responsibilities: Providing legal advice and guidance on FDA regulatory matters, including promotion and advertising regulation, as well as anti-kickback and fraud & abuse considerations. This position will provide day-to-day legal support to a key business unit and will involve working closely with colleagues in the sales and marketing organization, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, compliance and other functions.

Required Qualifications: The candidate must be a driven, self-starter looking to thrive and excel in an in-house counsel role with a global biopharmaceutical company. Must have demonstrated excellent teamwork, communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage a portfolio of complex matters. Must have the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, as this position will have some exposure to senior management. Experience with biologic products and Hub support services desired. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited U.S. law school with academic achievement, licensed and in good standing to practice law in Georgia or another state, and have at least 5-8+ years of accomplished law firm or pharmaceutical/healthcare in-house experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of FDA regulatory and anti-kickback laws, and a working knowledge of PDMA and privacy law considerations is desired. Demonstrated experience in commercial contracting strongly desired and healthcare, clinical and pricing contracting preferred. Prior experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare regulatory areas desired.
