On October 21, 2015, The Seeing Eye Institute hosted an exciting program sponsored by Princeton Legal Search Group in conjunction with the Association of Corporate Counsel, New Jersey. Bill Heller, General Counsel of the New York Football Giants and David Garber, President of Princeton Legal Search Group, engaged in a wide ranging discussion which included legal issues arising from the intersection of professional sports, technology and the globalization of football. The program was very well attended and topics of discussion included player health and safety, the establishment of policies by teams and the National Football League, the impact of electronic medical records on privacy and HIPAA compliance, commercial legal issues associated with the business of football including brand protection, and the impact and challenges presented by the proliferation of social media.
