Our client, an Am Law 100 global law firm is looking for a full-time employment Associate in the Labor & Employment Practice of their Northern New Jersey office. This Associate will have the opportunity to work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country in both litigation and counseling capacities. The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in an employment-specific, defense-side role, with a focus on litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodations, and other employment claims; experience advising employers on compliance issues relating to leaves of absence, performance management, wage and hour compliance, and terminations; and drafting personnel policies and employment agreements. Qualified candidates will have solid academic performance in law school, strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability, desire and initiative to take ownership over work and career. Candidates must be in good standing with the NJ State Bar; NY admission also preferred. The expected pay range for this position is: $175,000-$225,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
