Nationally recognized regional law firm has an immediate opening in its dynamic Redevelopment, Land Use & Zoning Group at its New Jersey office for a land use/real estate development attorney with 5+ years of experience.
The ideal candidate to join the firm’s growing, collaborative team is a self-starter with experience handling development applications from inception to completion, inclusive of addressing resolution compliance and post-approval issues. First chair experience representing developers before planning boards and zoning boards is preferred. A strong understanding of the Municipal Land Use Law and its intricacies is required. Experience negotiating redevelopment agreements and drafting easements is a plus.
New Jersey experience and bar are required. Experience and bar in New York or other jurisdictions is a plus. Superior written and verbal skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments contemporaneously are all requirements.
Hybrid work model with resident office availability for this role in the New Jersey office, bonus, and benefits eligible.
